Drachenberg Trading Company is a cotton export company formed in 2001 for the purpose of supplying quality U.S. Cotton to mills in importing countries directly from U.S. producers. Providing U.S. Cotton directly from U.S. producers to mills reduces overhead commonly found from large suppliers with large overall operating cost. This arrangement results in better prices, better quality and personalized service to the mill.

Richard L. Drachenberg, owner and founder of Drachenberg Trading Company, is a native of West Texas . He was born to farm families (maternal and paternal) that are 5 generations deep originally from Scotland and Germany migrating to the U.S. over 100 years ago. His knowledge of the cotton market is based upon 17 years as a cotton producer, 15 years as a cotton futures broker and trader, and almost a decade of cotton export experience. His trading experience covers the U.S. , Mexico and the Indian Subcontinent as well as the Far East .
